Welcome to Sifaka World, the first wildlife-themed virtual world which allows your child to play games, make friends, and contribute to wildlife conservation. Please click on any of the links below for more information. Have a question not answered here? Check out our help section, or contact us.

 Safety
  • Open Chat or Safe Chat - your choice

    In order to use open chat on Sifaka World, you must activate your account. Your child is asked to supply a parent's email address, to which we send instructions on activating your account. By default your child is limited to pre-written "safe chat" messages while they try out the site. If you child has open chat, they will be able to type their own short chat messages which are filtered and moderated by Sifaka World.

  • Our Moderators

    Sifaka World uses a combination of live moderation, chat filters, chat log review and additional custom tools to help ensure that our open chat environment is safe and fun. Users who break the rules are banned anywhere from 1 day to 1 week, or permanently for serious or repeated offenses. Every user is also given "ignore" and "report" buttons which allow them to block other users' messages and/or report bad behavior. We are constantly inventing new ways to both detect bad behavior and encourage good behavior in Sifaka World.

  • Games for Everyone

    Sifaka World has a wide variety of games from simple to more advanced. We have puzzle games, action games, strategy games and games of chance. What we don't have are violent games or inappropriate characters. All of our games feature funny, lovable and unusual creatures. Your child will find old favorites such as monkeys and chipmunks as well as more unusual animals like the Aye aye.

  • Making Friends

    Part of the fun of Sifaka World is hanging out with your Sifaka friends. Your child will be able to add friends to his/her buddy list, locate them online and participate in multiplayer games. Your child has full control over who becomes his/her buddy, and can easily limit buddies to real life friends.

  • Connecting with other Animal Lovers

    While anyone can enjoy Sifaka World, our Animal Lover members show a special desire to protect real-life animals. Together with other Animal Lovers, your child can learn that they can make a difference. Part of being an Animal Lover involves meeting other like-minded kids and interacting with the wildlife organizations that receive Animal Lover donations. We have lots planned for these special members that you won't find anywhere else.
